Amenities and Facilities

Crandon Tennis Center houses 26 courts, including 13 that are lighted. Lessons are offered. Reservations are accepted. The courts are wheel-chair accessible.

Facility Features

• 18 Laykold cushioned hard courts, seven lighted for evening play
• 6 state-of-the-art clay courts, 2 with red European clay, and 4 with green American clay. There are 2 grass courts. All courts are equipped with the newest watering system available.
• 13 lighted courts for evening play - 11 hard courts and 2 green clay.
• Full-service pro shop with equipment and apparel for sale and racket re-strung service.
• Clubhouse that can be rented for social events and meetings accommodating up to 200 people.  Tennis related events only.
• Steps away from Crandon Park Beach, consistently named one of the ten best beaches in the U.S., and adjacent to the Crandon Park Golf Course, rated among the top 75 municipal golf courses in the country.

Fees

• Hard court fees: adults, $4 per person, per hour during the day, $6 per person, per hour, during evenings. Juniors are $3 and $4 respectively.
• Clay court fees: Adults $7 per person, per hour, during the day - Juniors $3. Adults $9 per person, per hour, during the evenings - Juniors $4.
• Grass court fees: adults, $11 per person, per hour. Juniors, $7 per person, per hour.
• Stadium fees: adults, $13 per person, per hour. Juniors, $10 per person, per hour.

Tennis Programs

• Individual private or semi-private lessons available daily, from USPTA or USPTR certified staff instructors.
• World Team Tennis (WTT ) league available.

Summer Camps, After School Programs, Round Robin Socials through Cliff Drysdale.

Annual Events
The Crandon Park Tennis Center and the Stadium, is home to the Sony Open Tennis Tournament, a 12-day tennis tournament featuring the top 96 men and women tennis players in the world.

The Tennis Center also hosts fourteen USTA-sanctioned Junior Tournaments and two USTA adult tournaments.
