EcoAdventures offers Miami-Dade County residents year-round discounted rates on all their fun and affordable family activities which include kayaking, snorkeling, canoeing, biking and hiking, birding tours, swamp tromps, camping expeditions, airboat adventures, backcountry kayak fishing, and the ever-popular Sea Turtle Awareness Program. Tours are offered throughout the county and are guided by trained naturalists who will make your adventure not just fun but educational and unforgettable. All safety and adventure gear is provided. So, no excuses. Get out there and have a blast!

There’s much to do at Miami Metrozoo! Take a ride atop a camel at the Mercantil Commercebank Children’s Zoo for only $5. See venomous snakes, turtles, alligators, crocodiles, and lizards at Reptiles: The Beautiful and The Deadly at Dr. Wilde’s World through the end of the year. Hand feed our animals at the Samburu Giraffe Feeding Station and at the Pelican Feeding Encounter. See an amazing Wildlife Show at the Amphitheater three times daily. Sing along and rescue animals at Nick Jr.’s Diego’s Discovery Den show. You can even bring your bathing suit and refresh yourself in our water play areas and cool mister stations. Palmetto Mini-Golf offers family fun in a beautiful setting. Admission is $5 Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. and $6 Monday - Friday from 6 p.m. - close.

 The Deering Estate at Cutler offers kayak rental $10 per hour for adults and $8 per hour for children. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-14. You can also check out Deering's free Lecture Series on the second Thursday of every month. The lectures are held in the Visitor Center Auditorium. Admission is free and is open to the public.
