Green Mobility Network will offer free and safe valet service for bicycles, skateboards and non-motorized scooters at the Greynolds Love-In, Sunday, May 18, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --
Rock ‘n’ Roll fans can walk, pedal or roll to the Greynolds Park Love-In on May 18, and their bicycles, skateboards or non-motorized scooters will be kept safe at the Green Mobility Network bike valet, free of charge.

Bike valet is gaining popularity at South Florida outdoor events, encouraging people to use healthy personal mobility whenever they go out to have fun.  Miami-Dade Parks featured this service at this year’s Deering Seafood Festival and Earthfest at Crandon Park.

“This is a great tie-in to this annual 1960s-themed outdoor festival,” said Alan Weitzel, Region 3 Manager for Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department.  “The 1960s which was an era known for its promotion of peace and love in the world is a perfect event for Miami-Dade Parks to use Green Mobility, encouraging peace and love for our environment and also encouraging the community to use their bicycles for both exercise and to save on gasoline.”

Greynolds Love-In will feature The Spencer Davis Group live in concert, as well as other 1960s-themed activities and fun for the whole family, including the Spore Project, an art installation by Doug Rhodehamel, 1960s Costume Contest; vintage car exhibit; Kid’s Fun Zone with games and activities; psychedelic arts and crafts; face painting; food and crafts vendors; and much more.  Admission is free. There is a $7 parking fee. No coolers allowed.  Greynolds Park is located at 17530 W. Dixie Highway, N. Miami Beach. Please visit the Greynold's Love-In website or call 305-945-3425 for more information.

Sponsors include Miami-Dade County District 4 Commissioner Sally Heyman; Tony Roma’s; Majic 102.7 FM; The Doubletree Ocean Point Resort & Spa; The Miami Herald; Rolling Rock Beer; and Bagels & Company.
