Classes, workshops and special events offered in January and February at the Fruit & Spice Park


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 
The Fruit & Spice Park is a tropical paradise that grows more than 500 varieties of sub-tropical fruits, herbs, spices, vegetables and nuts from around the world. In addition to its daily guided tours, the Fruit & Spice Park offers a selection of classes, workshops and special events throughout the year. The Fruit & Spice Park is located at 24801 SW 187th Avenue in Homestead.

The following classes, workshops, and special events are being offered in January and February 2011 at the Fruit & Spice Park:

REDLAND HERITAGE FESTIVAL
SATURDAY & SUNDAY, JANUARY 15 & 16
10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Cost: $8; Children under 11 are free.

POLE BOAT WORKSHOP
SATURDAY, JANUARY 22
2 p.m. - 5 p.m.; Cost: $25
