Miami-Dade Park & Recreation Advises Boaters to Call Ahead Before Heading to its Marinas Memorial Day Weekend


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- The Memorial Day Weekend is one of the busiest times for boating and the Miami-Dade Park & Recreation Department (MDPR) is urging boaters to contact their marina of interest for updates on these important items, before heading out to launch:

  • Wait Time/Best Time To Launch
  • Available Parking
  • Weather Conditions
  • Renting Transient Dock Space For The Weekend

MDPR reminds marina users that parking space is limited for vehicles with boat trailers, and there are often long launch waits on holiday weekends, so advance planning is necessary.
