DEERING "HOLIDAY WONDERLAND"
Daily, December 1-31, 2011 (except for December 25th; the Deering Estate at Cutler will be closed on Christmas Day)

Throughout December, visitors can tour the elegant and historic houses as they come alive with holiday accents and decorations! The "Holiday Wonderland" is an annual tradition at the Deering Estate and a special project of local garden clubs and community organizations. The garden club members, students, and teachers have used over 600 yards of ribbon, 900 feet of garland, and thousands of handmade ornaments of various themes to decorate the Richmond Cottage and Stone House.

About the Deering Estate at Cutler
The Deering Estate at Cutler, a Miami-Dade County Park, is located at 16701 SW 72 Avenue in Miami. This 444-acre natural and archeological preserve and historic site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and serves as a center for education, culture and recreation. Historic house tours are offered daily at 10:30 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. and a Natural Areas Tour is offered daily at 12:30 p.m.. Both the Historic House Tour and the Natural Areas Tour are Free with regular admission to the Estate. EcoAdventure Tours are also offered throughout the year for an additional fee.
