(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- With the start of the New Year right around the corner, and weight loss being a common New Year's resolution, the Deering Estate offers a variety of health and fitness classes in a relaxing and beautiful setting!
- Tuesday Beginning Yoga: Tuesdays, January 3 - February 7; 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.; Cost: $60 for 6 weeks.
- Wednesday Beginning Yoga: Wednesdays, January 4 - February 8; 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.; Cost: $60 for 6 weeks.
- Tuesday Vinyasa Yoga: Tuesdays, January 3 - February 7; 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.; Cost: $60 for 6 weeks.
- Thursday Vinyasa Yoga: Thursdays, January 5 - February 9; 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.; Cost: $60 for 6 weeks.
- Saturday Vinyasa Yoga: Saturdays, January 7 - February 11; 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.; Cost: $60 for 6 weeks.
- Monday Pilates: Mondays, January 9 - February 20; 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.; No class on January 16; Cost: $60 for 6 weeks.
- Tuesday Pilates: Tuesdays, January 10 - February 21; 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.; No class on January 17; Cost: $60 for 6 weeks.
- Thursday Morning Pilates: Thursdays, January 12 - February 23; 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.; No class on January 19; Cost: $60 for 6 weeks.
- Thursday Evening Pilates: Thursdays, January 12 - February 23; 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.; No class on January 19; Cost: $60 for 6 weeks.
- Meditation Gathering: Mondays, January 9 - February 6; 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.; $60 for 5 sessions or $100 for 10 sessions. Please note that this class is offered to those who have already taken the Introduction to Meditation Class.
- Introduction to Meditation: Wednesdays, January 11 - February 8; 7:00 pm - 8:00 p.m.; $60 for 5 weeks.
In addition to the cost of the class, there is a one-time $12 annual registration fee. Space is limited. To register, please call the Ticket Office at 305-235-1668 ext. 233.
About the Deering Estate at Cutler: The Deering Estate at Cutler, a Miami-Dade County Park, is located at 16701 SW 72 Avenue in Mia.m.i. This 444-acre natural and archeological preserve and historic site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and serves as a center for education, culture and recreation. Historic house tours are offered daily at 10:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. with admission to the Estate. EcoAdventure Tours are also offered throughout the year for an additional fee.
