(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- The Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department is temporarily postponing its "Farmers Market Weekends" originally scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays, March 10-May 31, 2012 at Tropical Park (7900 SW 40th Street in Miami). The postponement is due to the unavailability of popular fruits being requested by patrons, which are currently out of season. To meet this demand, the Farmers Market Weekends will return at a later season during the year, which has yet to be determined.
