Topic: "Living Cultural Heritage in Korea"
Presenter: Dr. Annette Fromm

Over the past seven years Dr. Annette Fromm has had the opportunity to travel to many locations in South Korea.  She had the opportunity to travel as President of the International Committee for Museums of Ethnography.  For the past four years she has served on the committee for the International Journal of Intangible Heritage.  Meeting yearly for a week in February, the committee members are taken to locations in South Korea to see a variety of museums and living cultural heritage. Dr. Fromm's lecture will cover displays and exhibits from her travels.

The Deering Estate at Cutler, a Miami-Dade County Park, is located at 16701 SW 72 Avenue in Miami. This 444-acre natural and archeological preserve and historic site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and serves as a center for education, culture and recreation.
