Soccer 5 USA Hosts Its Grand Opening at Tropical Park March 23 & 24, With a Weekend of Free Soccer Fun


Miami Soccer 5 celebrates the Grand Opening of its newest, state-of the-art Soccer 5 sports complex at Tropical Park with a weekend of free soccer fun for all ages, March 23 & 24, 9 a.m. - 10 p.m., at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40 Street, Miami.

 

The Grand Opening weekend will feature free play for children, adults and teams.  Children play free from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and adults and co-ed games will be from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.  Pre-registration is required by calling 305-873-8765, email [email protected]  or text 'soccer5' to 313131.

Other activities scheduled for the weekend include:  

- Meet the Soccer 5 Academy Coaches and enjoy free coaching clinics
- Register for Soccer 5 Academy Spring Break Camp
- Bring your friends for a 7 v 7 challenge game
- Enjoy Co-Ed Saturday evening
- Play Soccer 5 Get In The Game
- 50% discount on Gatorade, Water and Hot Dogs
- Become a member and enjoy early adult evening field rentals starting on March 25. 

Soccer 5 Tropical Park is a second location for Miami Soccer 5, which until now only operated at Kendall Soccer Park.  The new soccer complex features 4G turf game fields for "5 v 5," "6 v 6," and "7 v 7" games, providing play opportunities for all ages and abilities. Open Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. - midnight, and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. - midnight, programs will include the Soccer 5 Academy providing soccer instructions to children ages 3-12; spring, winter and summer camp opportunities; and hourly field rentals. A third facility is scheduled to open soon at Amelia Earhart Park, located at 401 East 65 Street, in Hialeah, FL.
