Soccer 5 USA hosts Grand Opening at Amelia Earhart Park March 7-9, with a weekend of free soccer fun


(MIAMI, March 6, 2014) – Miami Soccer 5 celebrates the Grand Opening of its newest, state-of the-art Soccer 5 sports complex at Amelia Earhart Park with a weekend of free soccer fun for all ages, March 7, 2014, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and March 8-9, 2014, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., at Amelia Earhart Park, 401 East 65 Street, Hialeah, FL.

Other activities scheduled for the weekend include:

Soccer 5 Amelia Earhart Park is the third location for Miami Soccer 5, which operates at Kendall Soccer Park and Tropical Park.  The new soccer complex features two, 135 feet by 90 feet, 4G synthetic turf game fields suitable for 6- v-6 up to 8-v-8 matches, with plans to build up to eight fields over time.  Soccer 5 will be open Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. – midnight, and Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – midnight.  Programs will include:  Kids Academy for children ages three – 12 with experienced Soccer 5 qualified coaches; spring, winter and summer camp opportunities; Soccer 5 League and Tournament participation eligibility for all adult/youth teams; adult field rentals are available at a cost of $120 off-peak and $140 peak rates (approximately $10/person).
