Tropical Park hosting ''Baptist Health South Florida Turkey Day Run Miami'' presented by Publix

(MIAMI, November 25, 2014) - Warm up your Thanksgiving Day appetite with the “Baptist Health South Florida Turkey Day Run Miami” presented by Publix. The fun starts at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2014, Thanksgiving Day, at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40 St., Miami. Adults and children ages 2 and up are encouraged to run or walk in this fun and health-minded family 10k/5k race event. Race Day parking will be available at the Tropical Park entrance located at the intersection of Bird Rd. and SW 79th Ave. Plan on arriving early. Cars will not be allowed into the park after 7:15 a.m. If you are dropping off a runner, please do so at the shopping center across the street since there will be no outgoing traffic permitted until after the race.

Rub-a-dub-dub thanks for the grub! This Thanksgiving holiday help those in need by bringing canned goods to our food drive on race day. The Baptist Health South Florida Turkey Day Run Miami presented by Publix will be giving all food donations to Feeding South Florida to distribute to those in need for their Thanksgiving meal.

Your generosity can win you big!
Bring in two canned food items (per person) and you will be entered into a raffle to win a complimentary race entry for any 2014-2015 Florida race! Drawing will take place at the post-race party.
