Save The Frogs! Guest lecture on Amphibian Conservation in the 21st Century being hosted by Miami Eco Adventures on Sunday, January 11
(MIAMI, December 19, 2014) - Miami EcoAdventures will host a lecture titled SAVE THE FROGS! Dr. Kerry M. Kriger will deliver a presentation on “Amphibian Conservation in the 21st Century” on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Camp Greynolds, located at 18601 NE 22nd Ave, North Miami Beach, FL 33160.
During the lecture Dr. Kriger answers questions like: How long do frogs live; How many types of frogs are there; What’s the difference between a frog and a toad; and Why are frogs disappearing worldwide and what can be done to save them? The presentation features many of Dr. Kriger’s photos of amphibians from around the world, and there will be a question-and-answer session.

Dr. Kerry M. Kriger is the Founder and Executive Director of “SAVE THE FROGS!” (www.savethefrogs.com), the world’s leading amphibian conservation organization. He coordinates Save The Frogs Day, the world's largest day of amphibian education and conservation action, and has given presentations on amphibian conservation in 11 countries.
Dr. Kriger holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Griffith University in Gold Coast, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He is a recognized expert on the amphibian disease chytridiomycosis, a topic on which he has published 15 articles in peer-reviewed international scientific journals. Dr. Kriger’s amphibian conservation efforts have been supported by the National Geographic Society, the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund and various philanthropic organizations throughout the world.
