| The Department of Procurement Management is seeking a top-notch professional to join our dynamic nationally recognized organization in the capacity of a Senior Procurement Contracting Officer for the Enterprise Resource Planning Project (ERP) within the Technical Services Division. Responsibilities involve participating as a member for the project team to implement procurement-specific modules for the ERP on a countywide basis. The Senior Procurement Contracting Officer positions will be the operational experts for the Department of Procurement Management. These positions require collaborative work with various technical and operational resources throughout the County to ensure a proper transition strategy is in place for phasing out current legacy systems with the new Oracle PeopleSoft ERP platform. This involves working collaboratively with the ERP project team and its members including the Finance Department and ERP integrator. Responsibilities will be carried out using an extensive degree of independent judgment and professional procurement and technical knowledge in organizing and managing information technology services, procurement processes, troubleshooting, testing and training. Excellent communication and analytical skills are required.
