Operating Systems Programmer
Minimum Qualifications

We are currently seeking a top-notch Operating Systems Programmer with experience in a large z/OS mainframe system working with IBM JCL & Operating System Commands required. Assembler programming preferred. SMP/E, or z/OS Software installation or Sysplex configuration experience preferred. The following is a plus: Experience with CIMS, OMEGAMON, SMF, IBM-TWS, RMM, JES2, IBM-WLM, IBM Content Manager OnDemand v7, IBM z/OS MQ V6, or CA-Dispatch a plus, and z/OS Mainframe Sysplex Console Operations; and IBM z/OS specialty certification. Position includes on-call 24/7 rotation in support of z/OS operating systems components. Weekend and overnight assignments are routine. Completion of 60 semester credits to include 15 semester credits in a computer related field and three years of advanced programming and/or system maintenance and problem determination experience are required. Advanced programming and/or system maintenance and problem determination experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

This is advanced technical work planning, designing and implementing operational procedures utilizing various computer hardware and sofware systems in a centralized data processing operation.
