Employees in this class collect fees and schedule starting time for golfers, operate pro shop providing golfing supplies, patrol the course to enforce regulations and assist golfers as necessary and to insure proper playing conditions. Incumbents insure that the rules and etiquette of the game are followed and that the facilities are used properly by all players. Work requires the exercise of some independent judgment in providing satisfactory services to the patrons and in interpreting course regulations to golfers in a courteous manner.
