2012 American Community Survey -- Miami-Dade County profile

Released on Sept. 19, 2013, the 2012 American Community Survey's Miami-Dade profile summarizes changes in basic economic, housing, social and demographic factors, with particular focus on variables that displayed significant change. It covers the period of 2010-2012.

At-a-Glance Reports

  • 2013: Educational Attainment of Workers in Miami-Dade County
    In this report, the educational attainment of workers in Miami-Dade County is analyzed with data from the Local Employment Dynamics program. Three aspects will be analyzed: the educational attainment by the number of workers, the industries in which they work, the average monthly wages and wage differences according to gender. The information include in the analysis is from 2000 to 2011.
  • 2013: Poverty
    This issue of At A Glance looks at the Miami-Dade County poverty rate based on 2012 American Community Survey data. The report also draws from County, state and national data and how poverty compares to unemployment rates, educational attainment and more.
  • 2010: Social & Economic Changes
    This issue of At A Glance takes a look at the Miami-Dade demographics, income and housing and provides an insight into the recent social and economic changes in the County between 2006 and 2008, based on the American Community Survey data by the U.S. Census Bureau.
