    BCC Final Public Hearing

    Final Public Hearing by the BCC taking final actions on the proposed applications following the receipt of the ORC Report. State Law and County Code mandate that BCC meet at least twice and deadlines are met. Applicant makes a presentation.

    1) Miami Herald publishes ad

    2) Attend Public Hearing

    • Applicant makes a presentation

    3) Board makes decision

    • See results posted on: BCC Meetings 
    • If denied by BCC:
      • Application may be resubmitted as new application in another cycle (no Appeal Process).
    • If adopted by BCC:
      • transmittal to State and Regional Agencies

    Next Step: Transmittal of Adopted Standard Applications

    DP&Z, Planning Division:

    • Finalizes PAB minutes
    • Prepares ad for BCC Final Public Hearing
    • Sends ad to Government Informatiion Center
    • Miami Herald publishes ad
    • Prepares PAB Resolutions, Minutes & Attachments
    • Prepares ordinance for final action and BCC Agenda Kit for Final Public Hearing
    • Notifies contacts for Public Hearing
    • Prepares for BCC Public Hearing
    • Assembles materials for Public Hearing
    • DCA Notice Request Form
    • Attends BCC Final Public Hearing
    • Presents applications with QA
    • Records BCC votes and minutes
    • Receives updated covenants if any
