New regulations for Mobile Sales and Mobile Food Service Operations
The Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) recently adopted new regulations for mobile vendors operating on private property within unincorporated Miami-Dade County. The BCC adopted Ordinance 11-32 which regulates mobile food service special events “food truck round-ups” and Ordinance 11-92 which regulates mobile sales and mobile food service operations on private property.

School Concurrency review now required
Effective Immediately: Pursuant to the Interlocal Agreement for Public School Facility Planning between Miami-Dade County and Miami-Dade County Public Schools, a public school facility review is required on all proposed residential development zoning applications.
Impact Fees Change
Impact fees increased 2.2% October 1, 2011 for Fire, Police & Park Impact in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Outstanding assessments not paid before October 1st, 2011 will be charged the new rates.
Agricultural Uses in Open Land Subareas 1 (C-9 Basin) and 4 (East Everglades)
On August 2, 2011, the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance 11-59 providing for agricultural uses in Open Land Subarea 1 and Open Land Subarea 4, as designated on the County's Comprehensive Development Master Plan (CDMP).

Access the zoning history of all properties located within unincorporated Miami-Dade County. History records from 1938 to the present include zoning hearing, administrative variance, administrative adjustment, administrative site plan review and entrance feature files are available for review.
