The staff of the Community Planning Section is in charge of preparing annexation certificates and addressing all of the land use and zoning related requirements provided in Chapter 20 of the County Code when a proposed annexation or incorporation is under consideration.  In this function, the Community Planning Section works closely with the County's Office of Strategic Business Management.
