The Miami-Dade Police Department will be hosting their 2016 Promotional Ceremony at Florida International University. Director Juan Perez is proud to announce the promotion of over 100 officers of all ranks as they begin a new journey in their law enforcement career. Sixty-six (66) officers will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant, thirty-seven (37) Sergeants will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and thirteen (13) Lieutenants will be promoted to the rank of Captain. Please join us on this joyful occasion as these newly promotees proudly accept their leadership roles and guide their officers to be professionals as they carry out the department's core values of Integrity, Respect, Fairness and Service.
