Food Drive For Migrant Community

 

The Miami-Dade Police Department has been collecting food to assist the migrant community as they recover from Hurricane Irma.  After Hurricane Irma, approximately 400 migrant workers in our community are unable to return to work due to damaged farm fields.

On Saturday, October 21, 2017, the Miami-Dade Police Department in partnership Three Virtues Organization will be distributing the collected food to the migrant workers and their families. 

The last day for donations is Saturday, October 21st, between 9:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m., at any of the Miami-Dade Police Department locations listed on the attached flyer.

MDPD PIOs will be will be at Three Virtues Organization beginning at 11:00 a.m., media is welcome to attend.
