In an effort to preserve the safety of our community the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Intracoastal District, the office of Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sally A. Heyman and North Miami Police Department sponsor a Safer Community Gun Buy Back Event.  Both events are scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  Intracoastal District will host its event at the SoLe Mia sales office located at 15045 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida.  With no questions asked, anyone may drop off an unloaded firearm stored in the trunk of their vehicle.  In exchange for the firearm, the individual is eligible to receive a gift card valued at up to $200.
