The goal of the National Night Out campaign is to foster partnerships between law enforcement officers and the communities we serve, as well as to promote neighborhood camaraderie, all in the spirit of making neighborhoods safer.

The MDPD is committed to our mission of working together with the community to provide a secure environment for those residing and visiting Miami-Dade County.

From 5:00 p.m., to 10:00 p.m., residents are encouraged to join more than 38-million people across the United States by locking their doors, turning on their porch lights, and spending the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement personnel.
