Dr. Martin Luther King Day Parade and Celebration

The Miami-Dade Police Department has concluded the security and parade detail for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and Celebration.  This was a collaborative effort amongst multiple law enforcement agencies. We would like to extend our gratitude to our law enforcement partners.   

The following are statistics from Friday, January 18, 2019 through Monday, January 21, 2019:

  • Felony Arrests - 9
  • Misdemeanor Arrests - 3
  • Traffic Arrests - 2
  • Firearms Seized - 4
  • Vehicles Impounded - 1
  • Dirt Bikes and All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) Impounded - 33
  • Hazardous Moving Violations - 14
  • Non-Hazardous Moving Violations - 3
