MDPD Emphasizes the Importance of ATV and Motorcycle Safety

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), alongside our law enforcement partners and members of our community, will host a presentation to raise awareness on motorcycles, All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV), and Off Highway Vehicles (OHV) safety.

Safety tips on the proper usage of these vehicles, information about proper gear, locations where they can be safely and legally driven, as well as the laws which govern the usage of ATV's and motorcycles, will be provided.  Due to their increasing popularity, we will include information on Off Highway Vehicles, such as proper registration, safety equipment, and Florida State Statutes.

This presentation is part of MDPD’s overall commitment to keeping the community safe, working alongside our local public safety partners.

Media is invited to attend.
