Remembrance Ceremony and Bookbag Giveaway |

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) strives to foster relationships with our community and help those in need. As a new school year is upon us, members of the Miami-Dade Police Department came together to gather bookbags to help underprivileged children. A total of 216 bookbags, filled with folders, pens, pencils, and other essential items, were collected. MDPD will host a remembrance ceremony for Officer Cesar "Echy" Echaverry and recognize his dedication to helping members of the community. Echy's MDPD family will continue his legacy and bring joy to children in need as they commence a new school year. Media is encouraged to attend.
