Officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department Kendall District have partnered with Target Stores to host Heroes and Helpers. During this event, children from local schools will enjoy a holiday shopping spree at a Target store. Target Corporation has graciously donated $4,500.00 to fund $150.00 gift cards for participating students to shop alongside a Miami-Dade police officer. Thirty students from Royal Palm Elementary and Cypress Elementary were selected to participate by their schools. This annual event fosters positive and enjoyable interactions, in which our business community, law enforcement, and our youth build everlasting friendships.
