As part of the continuing efforts to keep our community safe, the Miami-Dade Police Department, has been conducting a countywide traffic safety initiative that began on Friday, January 13, 2023. 

The statistics below cover the period from Friday, January 13th until 9:00 p.m. today.

  • 2 ATV (Impounded)
  • 8 Motor/Dirt Bikes (Impounded)
  • 58 Felony arrests
  • 11 Misdemeanor arrests
  • 3 Traffic arrests
  • 11 Firearms recovered (10 guns, 1 rifle)
  • 2 Stolen vehicles recovered
  • 372 grams of Cocaine (Impounded)
  • 3 Moving citations
  • 2 Non-moving citations
