The Lost Lives of Krome Foundation will be honoring the Florida Highway Patrol Troop E and Corporal Andrew Chong-yen, Miami Dade Fire Rescue and Sergeant Oscar Ravelo, Officer Sean Garvey, Officer Manuel Machado and Officer Lazaro Santo from the Miami Dade Police Department for their heroic efforts on saving lives on Krome Avenue. This memorial is to remember all who have lost their lives on Krome Avenue, raise awareness of the dangers in Krome, expedite temporary and permanent improvements and raise funds to put up a monument on Krome to honor all those who perished there.
