The Agricultural Patrol Section is tasked with patrolling, investigating cases, and responding to incidents in over 440 square miles of rural areas within Miami-Dade County. The terrain in these areas, which are frequently subjected to flooding, makes it challenging for existing emergency vehicles to traverse.  The newly acquired  airboat will facilitate the transport of public safety personnel in a more efficient and effective manner.
