Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Initiative |

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) has been awarded a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation and the University of South Florida to target pedestrian and bicycle safety. During the safety campaign, officers will conduct on-street education, as well as enforcement operations, distributing educational materials to the public. The primary objective of this effort is to reduce traffic crashes and fatalities involving pedestrians and bicyclists.
