The Miami-Dade Police Department's, Special Patrol Bureau's Motorcycle Unit, will be targeting impaired drivers, aggressive driving, excessive speeding, texting while driving, pedestrian and bicycle violations, improper lane changes and lane violations, seatbelt violations, defective vehicle equipment infractions, and other criminal violations. The traffic enforcement campaign will run from August 7, 2023 through November 17, 2023. The campaign will be data driven identifying the enforcement locations with incidents of incapacitating and fatal traffic crashes.
