The Crime Prevention Display Vehicle (CPDV) serves as an extension of the Miami-Dade Police Department’s community awareness and education objectives.
Over 500,000 Americans become victims of identity theft annually, costing them and financial institutions approximately $750 million. Once victimized, it could take months or even years to clear one’s credit rating.
Miami-Dade County enacted the Nuisance Abatement Ordinance (NAO), No. 92-42, requiring property and business owners to eliminate public nuisances.
