The Miami-Dade Police Department, Northside District, is investigating a shooting that occurred at the above listed location. According to detectives, the victim, Andre Patterson was walking on N.W. 13th Avenue when the subject began to approach him. In fear of being robbed, the victim fled the area to N.W. 77th Terrace. The subject was able to catch up to the victim, produced a firearm and fired two shots striking the victim once in the back. The victim was able to flee to a nearby location where he dialed 911 and was transported to the Ryder Trauma Center. The victim was able to provide a description of the subject and a composite sketch was created. Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating the individual in the composite sketch attached.
