Student Threatens To Kill Another Student

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Village of Palmetto Bay Policing Unit is investigating an incident that involved threats made to kill a student at Palmer Trinity.  According to investigators, an anonymous parent called the Miami-Dade Police Department's Communications Center, stating that there was going to be a shooting at Palmer Trinity today.  The third party anonymous parent received the information from their child, who attends the school.  The parent stated that the subject's name was Daniel Villacampa.  This information was transferred to the MDPD, Village of Palmetto Bay who contacted MDPD, Homeland Security Bureau for further investigation.  Investigators responded to the school and made contact with Villacampa and the victim.  The victim stated that Villacampa sent text messages stating he was going to shoot him and stab him in the neck.  Investigators found a pocket knife in Villacampa's book bag and placed him under arrest.  He was charged accordingly.
