Animal Cruelty


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

On February 23, 2018, the Miami-Dade Police Department, Kendall District arrested Edangel Rives for Animal Cruelty.

According to investigators, the subject went to the victim’s residence, leaned over the fence and proceeded to shoot the victim’s dog with a rifle pellet gun. As a result of injuries sustained, the dog had to be euthanized by the veterinarian.

A search warrant of subject's residence was conducted, where two containers of pellets and a pellet rifle was recovered.
