Armed Commercial Robbery

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department Robbery Bureau, is investigating an armed commercial robbery that occured in southwest Miami-Dade.

According to investigators, subject #1 entered the business and proceeded to walk around the store. A few minutes later, he produced a handgun, forced the victims to the back of the store, and instructed them to lay on the ground. Subject #1 demanded all of the victims wallets and cellphones. Subjects #2 and #3, then entered the store, while subject #2 kept a lookout, subject # 3 ordered Victim #4 to enter the employee area, and demanded that she open the safe. She explained to subject #3 that there was a time delay on the safe. The subject advised he did not have time to wait and he grabbed approximately 20-25 cellular phones.

The subjects fled the scene with approximately 25,000 dollars in merchandise.

None of the victims were injured during the incident.

Surveillance video captured images of the subjects and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating these individuals. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site under case number PD170713265461.
