The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau is investigating an armed home invasion robbery, where a female was confronted by a subject inside her residence.

According to investigators, the victim arrived home to find an unknown male subject inside her bedroom. The victim attempted to exit the residence, at which time the subject prevented her from escaping by grabbing her.  The subject proceeded to punch and choke the victim.  He then armed himself with a knife and forced the victim back into her bedroom.  The subject bound the victim to the bedroom dresser and fled the scene in the victim’s 2015 Toyota 4 Runner.

Security cameras captured video and images of the subject exiting the victim’s residence and fleeing in her vehicle. Investigators are seeking the community’s assistance to identify and/or locate the subject.
