Armed Robbery

Need to Identify


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau, is investigating an Armed Robbery that occurred at the above location. According to investigators, the victim was in her driveway retrieving groceries from the backseat of her SUV, when a silver 4-door sedan pulled alongside the residence. The first subject exited the vehicle, armed with a handgun and wearing a mask, and approached the victim, stating, “Señora deme su cartera” (Ma’am give me your purse). The victim ran, when a second subject approached her, snatched her purse, and pushed her to the ground. Both subjects fled in the waiting vehicle, which was driven by a third unknown subject.

The subjects stole the victim’s purse, which contained approximately $3,000.00 in U.S. currency. The victim at the time was also 5 months pregnant, and sustained minor bruising.

Surveillance video captured the image of the subjects and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating these individuals. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site.
