According to investigators, four subjects committed the robberies while driving a blue Honda SUV stolen from the Kendall area. The armed individuals started at approximately 6:10 a.m., targeting victims walking along a roadside, at a bus stop, in a parking lot, a local gas station, and in front of a residence. During the course of the robberies, the subjects confronted one victim walking along the roadway in the area of SW 168 Street & SW 108 Avenue. Placing a gun to his neck, they snatched the victim's chain and took his cellular phone and pocket knife. Three minutes later, the subjects took a female victim's purse containing her belongings and thirty dollars in U. S. currency, as she sat at a bus stop on SW 172 Street & 102 Avenue. Another victim was seated in his car in a parking lot at SW 114 Avenue & Quail Roost Drive, when the subjects stopped in front of him, placed a gun in his side and took his cellular phone, cell phone charger, and wallet. The subjects continued the robberies minutes later, pointing a gun to the chest of a fourth victim, stealing his car and necklace as he pumped air in his tires at a local gas station located at 12701 SW 268 Street. The fifth victim, a construction worker, was retrieving his work gear from inside his car when the subjects jumped out of the blue SUV, pointed a firearm at him and took his gold chain. At approximately 7:00 a.m., the last victim was walking his dog in front of his residence when a blue SUV stopped in the roadway, and two of the subjects exited the vehicle with guns drawn. The subjects demanded his gold chain, and proceeded to pat him down for more property before getting back into the vehicle to flee the area.

Both the Honda SUV and Silver Nissan were abandoned in the southwest Miami-Dade area and both have since been recovered by police units.

Surveillance video captured the image of the subjects, and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating these individuals. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site.
