Armed Robbery


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department(MDPD), Robbery Bureau, is investigating an armed robbery at a Car Wash in Northwest Miami-Dade.

According to investigators, at approximately 4:45p.m, two black males both armed with guns approached victims Sergio Salas and Omar Rangel. The subjects demanded money and a gold chain from the victims.  Both victims complied with the subjects demands. One subject shot Sergio Salas on the leg before fleeing from the scene on foot with approximately four hundred dollars and a gold chain.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department responded to the scene and transported Sergio Salas to Jackson Memorial Hospital Trauma Center in stable condition.

The investigation continues.
