The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau is investigating an armed robbery that was caught on camera in Northwest Miami-Dade. According to investigators, the victim was entering his vehicle after purchasing goods at Tony's Food Market, located at 2541 NW 95th Street. A subject riding a bicycle approached the victim, brandished a firearm, and demanded money. Due to a language barrier the victim did not understand the subject's demands, and was subsequently shot in the face by the subject. The subject fled on his bicycle westbound on NW 95th Street. The victim was transported to JMH Ryder Trauma, where he is in critical condition. Surveillance video captured the image of the subject and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating this individual. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site under case PD171104423285. The investigation continues.
