The Miami-Dade Police Department’s (MDPD), South District is investigating a shooting that resulted in an 11 year old being shot.
According to investigators, at approximately 10:10 p.m., Jamarie London walked out of the house to speak to his brother when a dark colored SUV drove by and began shooting striking the 11 year old in the upper torso.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported the juvenile to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in stable condition.
The motive is unknown at this time.
The investigation continues.
