Detectives from the South District of the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) are investigating a shooting which took place last Saturday night, December 3, 2016 in which three people were wounded, one of them critically.
The investigators say that at approximately 8:17 p.m., several people were standing outside a residence at Southwest 114 Court, when someone fired multiple shots at them from a parking lot located directly south of the residence. The three people wounded were; Lashelle Williams, who suffered several gunshot wounds to different parts of her body, Xavier Pringle who sustained a gunshot wound to his left shoulder, and Diamond Tisdale, who was grazed at the back of her head. Ms. Williams’ condition is said to be critical. Mr. Pringle and Ms. Tisdale are listed in stable condition.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel transported the three victims to Jackson South Hospital.
A white sport utility vehicle, make and model unknown at this time, was observed leaving the parking lot from where the shots were fired. It is not known if the vehicle was involved in the incident.
No motive for the shooting has been determined. The investigation continues.
