(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department's Homicide Bureau is investigating a domestic related attempted murder suicide.

According to investigators, a 911 call was received in reference to a person shot.  Responding officers discovered a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound and a male with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The victim was airlifted to Kendall Trauma Center. The male was pronounced deceased on scene.
