Attempted Suicide and Murder |

The Miami-Dade Police Department Homicide Bureau is investigating a domestic attempted suicide and murder that resulted in the death of a two year-old boy. According to investigators, a 911 call was received in reference to a suicidal female who had stabbed herself and her child. The caller advised that the mother and child were being transported to Homestead Hospital by an unknown person. Upon the officer’s arrival at Homestead Hospital, the two year-old was pronounced deceased and his mother was listed in critical condition. During the investigation, it was discovered that the female also stabbed an adult male. The male was transported to Jackson South Community Hospital by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and his condition is unknown at this time. The relationship between the male and female is unknown at this time. The investigation continues. UPDATE #1: The subject, Nathaly Ramos, has been identified and charged accordingly.
