The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a male and a female. According to investigators, a 911 call was received in reference to two people shot. Officers arrived at the residence and made contact with the reporter, who is the son of the homeowner. He advised that he returned home and discovered his mom and dad deceased in the back terrace from apparent gunshot wounds. The preliminary information reveals that the deceased couple were separated and the estranged wife visited the residence to pick up documents. Once the son returned home, he discovered his parents deceased and notified the police. The investigation is leading detectives to believe that this is a domestic related murder-suicide.
