According to investigators, the victim may have been involved in an altercation with the subject inside the establishment. As a result, several individuals were ejected from within the club by private security personnel. While the victim was standing outside, the subject drove by as he was exiting the parking lot and shot at the victim, striking him.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

Further investigation revealed a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound arrived at the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in a white Nissan Altima. The victim remains in critical but stable condition.
