(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is conducting an investigation into the murder of Laura Cuni.  According to investigators, officers were dispatched to a possible abduction that may have occurred overnight.  Once officers arrived, they conducted an area check and discovered Laura Cuni deceased inside the rear office of the front counter.  According to the reporter, who is a temporary roommate, stated that she was concerned when she noticed that Ms. Cuni never made it into her home after closing the facility at 6:00 p.m.  Investigators continue to follow all leads and due to the time of day, they are confident that someone may have seen something and are urging the assistance of the community for information regarding this incident.
